Harry Coumnas is an ardent believer that an alien invasion is inevitable, but more likely than not , it will happen within the next 10 years. He is one of the small group of people in the world who believes that the time is not far off when we will experience a visit from extra terrestrial beings. One of the reasons that he thinks that this will happen is because rising greenhouse emissions may have tipped off aliens that we are a rapidly expanding threat.

While for the most part he is doubtful that they will be of any benefit to the human race, he does believe that there are a race of aliens called "Nestrofians" who are non-violent and non-aggressive. But the bad part, Harry says is that they are not one of the most technologically advanced ones, and hence we have less to gain from them. It is not easy though, and one of the problems that we could face is communication. Being one of the least progressive ones, they may not have the knowledge needed to be able to have meaningful conversations with us.

But all is not lost, as we can use them to travel to far off places in the galaxy and discover what lies in space. This will help us to get to planets that we thought were previously uninhabitable. According to Harry, we can then find other planets that have the same chemical make up as Earth and live on them. Not only will this be a great way to help deal with the issue of population growth, and also decrease the incidence and prevalence of many diseases.
