While the Nationals have not been the most fortunate of teams when it comes to winning hardware, there’s reason for optimism. Despite starting the season 7-13, the team has come to its own in the past thirteen games, winning eleven of them. They have played like juggernauts, averaging 6.4 runs a win, and their pitching unit has allowed a meagre three runs a game in that thirteen-game span.
