Great Oak Waldorf School broke ground on its new campus in Tomball, TX to initially serve kindergarten and preschool students starting in August 2025. Located just a quarter of a mile from the school’s current location, the expansion is designed to meet the growing demand for alternative education methods.
Great Oak Waldorf School’s preschool and kindergarten programs provide a play-based, nurturing environment that serves as an extension of the home. Young students engage in hands-on activities such as baking bread, making soups, gardening, and immersing themselves in storytelling and play. Rooted in the 100-year-old Waldorf educational philosophy, the school fosters confidence, joy, and a deep love of learning in young children. By the time students transition to the academically rigorous grade levels, they are well-prepared, eager, and enthusiastic about learning.
“The Waldorf method instilled creativity and beauty in my girls’ education. Both my NYU college freshman and high school junior receive recognition for their unique perspectives and creative solutions,” said Zuzana Leckova, a Great Oak founding parent.
Great Oak Waldorf School is now enrolling for the fall semester. For more information, visit www.greatoakschool.org or email
