Jose Poulose is a skilled medical professional with many awards under his belt. When practicing Internal Medicine at Winthrop University Hospital, he was awarded as the Outstanding Resident of the Year for 2000-01. He won this award for two years consecutively. He taught medical students from Stony Brook University, SUNY, NY during their rotation through Winthrop University Hospital and received the Teaching Award for Preceptorship for two consecutive years i.e. 2001 and 02 for his outstanding service.
He is also the receiver of America’s Registry of Outstanding Professionals for the year 2003-04.

Owing to his skills and dedication, he also won Strathmore’s Who’s Who and Attending of the Year at the Winthrop University Hospital, NY for the year 2005-06. He has also received Vitals.com patient choice award winner for three consecutive years 2009, 2010, and 2011.

Jose Poulose also has research publications where he shared his expertise and knowledge-“ Tricks of the trade with difficult pace maker access, EP Lab Digest” & “The lack of diagnostic value of the indium scan in acute bacterial endocarditis. The American Journal of Medicine.”
