Florida, USA – 12/2/21: Biographical fiction is a subgenre of fiction that gives depth to real-life historical characters and describes historical events from their subjective viewpoints.

Although this approach to fiction and nonfiction prose has been around for decades, it has recently undergone a revival of sorts. Due to the rise of biopics and the overall fervor surrounding remakes, the genre appears to have found a new lease on life and brought quite a few names to light, including that of Joseph Woodward.

Despite being a relatively new name in the genre, Joseph Woodward has attracted widespread attention for retelling previously unknown events surrounding ordinary people.

To date, Woodward has published one standalone novel, one anthology, and four books belonging to two different trilogies. His books include The Three Husbands of Annabelle, which depicts the story of Annabelle Adams and her third husband Earl Adams. The writer also has a collection of three short stories called Pocket Book of Short Stories to his credit.

Woodward’s first trilogy, Lost Between the Continents, tells the tale of Ernest and Frances Woodward across a span of three books: Another Chance, Healing Hands, and Sudden Freedom. The books have garnered rave reviews for their depiction of Victorian Era London and overall authenticity.

In a recent turn of events, Woodward published his debut action-adventure book, Back Running, which he revealed is to be the first in a trilogy called The Power Run.
