The prestigious Distinctive Cat Book award for 2017 goes to Tigger Tales of a Cosmopolitan Cat.

Many readers believe that Susanne Haywood’s work deserves an award for her creativity, engagement and lessons learnt from the memoirs.

While acknowledging the prestigious award, Susanne Haywood was grateful for the recognition stating that she felt honored and that the award is motivation for her to soar to greater heights. “Thank you so much for this very precious award, which will have a place of honor on my study wall and inspire me to keep writing. While making the announcement, the company representative said that the award winner was recognized for her creative writing and the inspiration drawing their readers. The Distinctive Cat Book award is an annual event that.

The Stephen Memorial Award is run by the Bookangel.co.uk book club. It has been one year since the death of Stephen the furry feline founder member. “So growing out of a discussion on the book forum, the idea of the Stephen Award was born: an award for books that features cats worthy of Spike’s seal of approval,” said the company spokesperson.

“So, as a way to remember him, and a way to bring some attention to the other unique cats out there, the Stephen Award was launched in August 2017. It was biased, subjective, judged by our reviewers on what they feel like, capricious and altogether as fitted to cat temperaments as we could make it!” added the representative.
