The Manhattan Center in New York offers technologically advanced studios and stages that are perfect for all kinds of TV shows and live presentations.

[NEW YORK, 04/23/2018] - The Manhattan Center is where events, performance, and productions come together under one historic roof. The New York-based venue offers its studios for rent, allowing clients to maximize the facilities for perfectly executed productions.

The Manhattan Center’s two main production studios, TV Studio 1 and 2 (TV-1 and TV-2 respectively), are the perfect backdrop for any televised production.

TV-1 provides audiences of 200 people with easy access through a dedicated street level entrance just two blocks from Penn Station on 34th Street and 8th Avenue. The 3,800 square-foot production stage features:

• Five dressing rooms
• Hair/makeup room
• Wardrobe
• Green room
• Audience holding area
• 12,000 square-feet of office production space

The studio’s state-of-the-art control room comes with a 96 input Miranda KX Multiviewer, Grass Valley Cayenne 350-25 HD video switcher, Riedel digital matrix intercom panels, and custom designed furniture.

TV-2, on the other hand, features three green rooms (one having an additional makeup station) and one makeup room. This studio, which has served as production space for ESPN, PBS, BET, Comedy Central, and Showtime, is perfect for corporate events and talk shows.

The Manhattan Center houses two more production studios significantly bigger than TV-1 and TV-2: The Hammerstein and The Grand.

The Hammerstein, built in 1906, is a 12,000 square foot space with a 75-foot ceiling with customizable lighting, sound, and set designs. The stage also resembles a century-old opera house, enhancing its aesthetic appeal. The integration of live events is seamless due to The Hammerstein’s innovative post-production suites.

The Grand is a 10,000 square-foot facility with a 40-foot high vaulted ceiling. Because of the stage’s natural acoustics, musicians and composers consider it the “best in the world.”

The Grand connects with the Manhattan Center’s HD video control rooms and recently renovated Studio-7 to provide the perfect stage for event organizers; Studio-7 recorded cinema’s first film score in 1926.

The Manhattan Center adds, “Productions, special events and live broadcasts come to life here.”
