According to its analysts, Apple will likely be opening Siri to third-party applications, which means that developers can maximize the use of the voice assistant in a wider range of tasks. Apple made history in the technology business when it launched Siri, the world’s first digital assistant. This has paved the way for its competitors to launch better assistants with Apple expected to remedy the situation during the 2016 Worldwide Developers Conference, which will be held on June 13-17, 2016 in San Francisco, California.

Siri and Google Assistant, among other examples, are part of the industry’s increased focus on artificial intelligence – intelligent software that allows machines to act more like human beings.
