Wonderful Things Factory (WTFactory) has recently made its Siriprediction for Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference, which will be held on June 13-17, 2016 in San Francisco, California. According to its analysts, Apple will likely be opening Siri to third-party applications, which means that developers can maximize the use of the voice assistant in a wider range of tasks. The manufacturer of iPhone fitness cases has a stake, so to speak, in the changes that Apple makes in its top-of-the-line smartphone considering its line of business.

Apple made history in the technology business when it launched Siri, the world’s first digital assistant. But since then, Siri has been in danger of being eclipsed by its rivals particularly Google, Amazon, and Micosoft, all of which have made significant strides in their artificial intelligence programs. Siri should be upgraded in its capacity so as to hold its own amidst the increasingly stiff competition in the virtual assistant market.

For example, Google Assistant has the signature ability to carry on a conversation similar to discussions with a normal person mainly by building on previous exchanges. Siri, on the other hand, has a tendency to respond to specific commands only such that changing the phrasing can result in its confusion.

Siri was first introduced in 2011 as part of iPhone 4S and Apple has yet to make significant improvements in its features and functions. This has paved the way for its competitors to launch better assistants with Apple expected to remedy the situation during the 2016 Worldwide Developers Conference, which will be held on June 13-17, 2016 in San Francisco, California.

Siri and Google Assistant, among other examples, are part of the industry’s increased focus on artificial intelligence – intelligent software that allows machines to act more like human beings.
