The company also said that scanning in ComScan is up to six times faster than a traditional CMM. This was revealed in an independently produced case study providedby the company. Gaspardo & Associates notes that its ComScan system can scan and measure a cylinder head in just 15 minutes, compared to 90 minutes on the best CMM’s. The system isalso a great solution forcomputer aided verification.
