While the fairy tale story seems to be magical in black and white, the reality of life is that most couples might dream about sharing more time and yet when it does happen, albeit not under the ideal circumstances, it does bring about several causes of tension often leading towards divorce.

The one is that it is extremely challenging for many couples to spend as much time in each other’s company as what was the case, especially during hard lockdown restrictions. While working from home sounds like fun, for many couples the one element of their marriage that helped them to stay happy was the fact that they did spend quite a bit of time apart from each other every day. his continuous presence in each other’s company does bring about several challenges which some couples just couldn’t withstand. Yet, it is important to remember that while many couples might now be far unhappier than before the pandemic, it is not always the case that these couples get divorced as for many, there are now certain financial restraints due to the impact of the virus.
