Finding The Innocent Not Guilty

Have You Ever Been Falsely Accused? Having to deal with any kind of criminal charge is highly stressful.

Having to deal with any kind of criminal charge is highly stressful. It is even more so when you are facing false allegations. Not too long ago, this was the case for a Rhode Island campus student. As the alleged crime took place several years before the student laid her complaint there were a lot of unknowns and uncertainties to deal with. For example, the plaintive was unsure about the time, date, and place of the crime scene, but we're very certain about eyewitnesses who were present when the crime took place.
“This was a bit of a tricky case as we had to go back to investigate a crime that took place several years ago. Yet, our team is always delivering the best kind of solutions you’ll find in the field and managed to get hold of every mentioned eyewitness that was about to testify against our client. During the investigation, it became evident that the complaintive had discussions with all her eyewitnesses and over an extensive period, she managed to build her entire case against our client. However, when you are starting to fabricate evidence and are influencing eyewitness testimonies, you are taking law into your own hands and playing a dangerous game. She didn’t manage to cover all her tracks and on social media platforms we could find evidence that indicated the opposite of her accusations,” says Blake Nolan the media consultant to the leading name when it comes to sex crime lawyers in Rhode Island, John Grasso.
While this case did have a positive outcome for the student who had to face these false accusations, it is unfortunately very sad that people would simply just find someone guilty and cast their judgment onto them when they are merely accused of a sex crime. “It is the kind of stigma we are continuously working to dissolve. People have the right to a fair case, an opportunity to defend themselves. Yet, society is harsh when it comes to these kinds of cases and they will immediately decide that the accused should be outcasted from society. It can have a detrimental impact on someone’s personal life, social life, financial prospects, and career,” says Nolan
The winning John Grasso team was able to prove the accused not guilty this time around, but they will always consider the plight of many spending time in prison for crimes they didn’t commit, crimes they simply could not find the right evidence to show their innocence and are now wasting away their lives serving a punishment undeserved.
