What might suit ones hair might not be suitable for others hair. Hence, utmost care and precision must be observed while choosing products suiting hair type of every individual. Products that help to tame frizz and add sheen to the hair must be chosen.
Use such shampoo and conditioner that is devoid of any sulphates. Sulphates have a disastrous effect on curls. They only dry out the hair and leave the hair without any moisture. Hence opt for natural and organic shampoos which are without any sulphates. Always pay attention to the hair ends. Apply conditioner only on the ends and not on the scalp. This will also help in retaining the moisture. Do not apply too much conditioner; this will only make the hair too look greasy.
Products that help in styling should not be used frequently especially ones that contain alcohol only damage the hair. Heat styling machines should be kept away. To tame curls, it necessary to retain moisture levels in the hair and get rid of the frizz. Following a routine of deep conditioning the hair works wonders for curls. Just using by using the right deep conditioning products once a week will help.
Always use wide toothed combs to detangle the hair and knots. Usage of a spray aiding detangling is an additional way to take care of unwanted knots. It is not necessary that expensive products only help in maintaining curly hair. There are some curly hairs products which are reasonably priced that can do wonders for curls and keep the frizz away.
