Joel Penton, the famous youth motivational speaker recently spoke at the 31st annual Positive Addictions Week event in Lima, OH. Students of different schools including St. Gerard, St. Charles and St.Rose came together to learn about positive addictions from the former football champion and a well-known author. Penton at the week spoke to sixth, seventh and eight standard students about positive addictions and made them learn how to acquire these addictions.

Since these days kids especially adolescents and teensin schools are exposed to a lot of negativity,so the week was all about teaching the students that how they can inculcate positive addictions, as opposed to the negative addictions of drugs and alcohol. The workshop also taught them how to use positive thinking in order to remove negative thinking. As positive addictions are all about making good choices based off a development of good habits, Joelspoke that developing these positive addictions are one of the most important task that every student must learn in their school time.

He spokeat the week and explained students about how these habits combine with a firm set of goals can help them achieve anything in the life. Joel made the kids realize that they have the power to make change happen and they are entirely responsible for what they think and how they react to negative situations. He also made the students learn that they should be positive, supportive, and develop their mind and they should not put others down in order to feel good about themselves.
