Other lesser known destinations such as the Great Ocean Road, North Queensland and the Coral Coast all experienced a 20 to 30 per cent growth of European tourists, according to the Expedia report.

The report states that the three visitor markets contributed $5.4 billion to the Australian economy. The report also said that the three markets tend to stay longer in Australia.
