JMV has introduced a JC4 PV Connectors, citing the complication in making cable connection in combiner/ monitoring boxes and solar panels. It offers a long term standing connection for solar plants. It has a locking mechanism which consists of a female and a male connector. The female and male connector is simply a plug and socket design. The well- adjusted structure forms an interlocking connection together. This interlocking structure offers UV protection and also protects from dust and water. The connector employs following components: - the main housing, a metal crimp contact, a rubber water seal, a seal retainer and a screw on end cap.
