Just days before, PSL & PCB Chairman resigned from his designation. He himself revealed his resignation on the social media site, twitter, in his recent tweet. He served as Pakistan Cricket Board from August 2017 to August 2018. He was the focal person who launched PSL in 2016. Due to his passion and hard work, PSL three editions were successfully ended. Most of the matches of Pakistan Super League were held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He made some serious efforts to bring International Cricket back in Pakistan. In this regard, he organized PSL 2017 Final in Lahore, Pakistan & PSL 2018 two Playoffs in Lahore & Final in Karachi, Pakistan.
