Prior to hurricane Sandy, Andrew Lesnak was leading a blissful life with waterfront home that he had earned though his successful financial planning business of more than 30 years. It was so unfortunate that he saw transforming his assets into ashes in front of his eyes. He was introduced to the various mental health facilities, that were filled with people suffering from mental health and substance abuse issues, and who had been receiving daily counseling.

Soon after hurricane Sandy, Andrew found it therapeutic to help heal the wounds of other victims. He offered hands on counseling, and located financial awards to help rebuild both their home and personal lives. He worked as the victim’s advocate and his success has been widely recognized in the state of New Jersey. Soon, he came up with the company named The Spero Advocacy Group with the motto While I Breathe, I Hope. He considered it the part of his recovery process to help others who had suffered as he had, but had lost their will power to move forward in a productive way.

Being the survivor of hurricane Sandy, Andrew Lesnak volunteers and donates for Red Cross Organization. Being an independent and neutral organization, this organization ensures humanitarian protection and assistance for the victims of war and armed violence. It provided him with the required assistance and addressed his disaster needs.

About Andrew Lesnak

To take the success that he has attained while counseling these victims, Andrew Lesnak decided to create his own “Community Outreach Program”. The mission of that program was to assist victims of catastrophic events, like what he had experienced. That assistance, for example, included: “Hands on” counseling, locating financial awards to help rebuild both their homes and their personal lives. And, it also involved a spiritual component, so that the victims could learn how to cope with their loses, in a very calming setting.
