Jain (Deemed-to-be University) is the only Indian university to be accredited by the Chartered Society of Forensic Science (UK), to offer a B.Sc Forensic Science (Honors) program. The team regularly visits the campus to ensure that the department caters to the global standards concerning the course. Mr. Peter Ellis, Assessor from Chartered Society of Forensic Science (CSFS) will be visiting the campus to accredit the program. He was the Metropolitan Police Service Directorate of Forensic Services and began his career as a Scene of Crime Officer in 1980. He was also the Editor of CSEye Magazine and is a member of the Editorial Board for Science and Justice. Mr. Peter Ellis is an approved assessor for the Certificate in Professional Competence (CPC) - Crime Scene Investigation and the Pre-Employment Assessment of Competence (PEAC) schemes. He is currently working as a director at Fast Track Development Ltd, a consultancy and learning solution provider.

Conduction of Master Class and Workshops:
Master class and workshops will be conducted from 3rd to 7th February 2020 for the faculty members and students of B.Sc. Forensic Science (Hon). The resource person for the master class is Ms. April Robson.
Ms. April has extensive experience in developing, leading, and training courses for forensic scientists, at laboratory entry and MSc level both in the UK and many other countries. She also specializes in the forensic examination of items for body fluids / DNA, footwear and trace evidence. She has an excellent record of accomplishment as a forensic practitioner and has worked within these disciplines for over 30 years. She has been a part of many high-profile cases, particularly historic re-investigations. Additionally, she has a wealth of experience in developing, writing, implementing, and maintaining SOP’s for both ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 accreditation and has recently qualified as an auditor for ISO 17025:2017.
