Jeremy Priestley has had his focus set on business since he left school. Initially pursuing a foundation course in Accountancy in London, he was picked up by a local Sheffield firm soon after he passed. Success started here, where he was made a partner after just two years of work, and a managing partner after five. The firm’s faith in his abilities was well-placed, as he grew turnover by 800% during his time there.

While working at this local, independent firm as an accountant, he began to consider starting his own firm. Eventually the pull to work in his own business was strong enough that he left his job. He also started a receivables management company, and has not looked back. The firm attained success right away, and attracted big-name companies as clients such as Microsoft, Yahoo, and NetApp.

Expanding the firm became his next goal, and soon they had established a consulting and asset recovery section to complement their receivables management practice. Helping other businesses to manage their finances was lucrative, and Jeremy Priestley also established an international forum business that attracted many blue chip clients. With business success seemingly inevitable for his firm, he used his turnaround knowledge to establish new businesses which could share his skills with other companies to make them more efficient and productive. This company eventually expanded into Ireland as well as England, creating a large and varied client-base.

Advising companies needing help with debt management was another venture that worked out for him, and he was able to assist firms. Investments in mortgage companies and data management companies was something that he chose to do separately of owning businesses, and though the shares were sold some time ago. Most of his businesses have now been sold, but he is always looking for the next business idea.

Jeremy Priestley has had a long, successful career in business where he has completed many ventures. Currently, he is focused on giving back to his hometown and developing a new business plan that interests him.
