The course equips trainees with adequate knowledge and skills to operate the equipment. Through it, trainees will have knowledge about the sector relevant to their work. They will also be able to speak and write proficiently, at an Employability Skill System Level of 3 and above. The full day, 9-hour course includes an assessment and follows the modules listed below:

• CE1: Prepare to carry out boom lift operations
• CE2: Carry out operations
• CE3: Conduct post-operation of boom lifts

The centre uses the following mediums for instruction to conduct the session:

• Mandarin
• Malay
• Tamil
• English

Upon completion, trainees will have certification from the WSQ. The WSQ Statement of Attainment to Operate Boom Lift is valid for 5 years. Trainees are better equipped to start operating boom lifts because of the comprehensive course, providing them the knowledge, skills, credentials and the confidence to carry out the job.
