The first step is to place the discolored laundry in a bucket and then you heat water and pour it in the bucket over the discolored laundry. Then you either take a tooth cleaning rod or dishwasher tablets (4 tablets per procedure) and put them in the bucket.

Now you take a spoonful and stir the water until the tabs have completely dissolved. The water becomes colored while stirring, like the tabs, while they dissolve quickly start to draw the color out of the wash very gently.

The discolored water is drained off thoroughly and the discolored laundry should be returned to the washing machine for safety, to wash out any remaining paint during a new washing process.

Tips:

- For the next wash, you should remember to put a color catcher in the washing machine. This approach protects the environment and the laundry no longer discolors.

- Detoxifiers from the trade are not recommended, because they contain as mentioned already sharp bleach.

- Very attentive one should deal with garments, which are decorated with applications or metal buttons because these tolerate no sharp bleach and are visually ugly and worn.
