In one of the most competitive spirit competitions at the San Diego Spirits Festival; Blue Label Vodka has emerged as one of the top winners. Unlike other competitions only 30% of the vodka spirits that entered the competition were awarded a medal.

While announcing the results to the press, Richard Rucker CEO Blue Label Products said that his company was elated by the results. Rucker added that the recognition were a result of the company commitment to quality as well as their determination to produce spirits which meets customer satisfaction. The company has only been in the industry for two years, but in the short span they have been in the market, they have proved to be a force to reckon with when tasted next to other major brands. Blue Label Vodka have been awarded several awards, including the recognition by the tasting companies for their quality and distinction.
"Winning a Bronze in a competition that is arguably known as the toughest spirits competition in the industry is a big win," said Erik Hoffman Executive Vice President Blue Label Products acknowledging that the competition was extremely competitive.

The competition often described as tough, where organizers do not give any automatic awards, all the entrants were subjected to rigorous vetting by a panel of internationally recognized judges. Every medal that was awarded in each category was merited after a thorough check performed by the panel of judges, who included Judges Henry Priess, Forrest Cokeley, Frankie Thaheld among other internationally recognized tasters. According to the organizers the spirits were mainly judged based on their appearance, aroma, taste, and finish. The San Diego Spirits Festival Founders Awards, where the Blue Label Vodka won the Bronze medal were awarded against a series of competitors. Each of the entrants was blind tasted and graded, and identified only after the medalists were finalized.
