Jeanette DiBella is thrilled to announce that she was featured on a CNN show in 2010. In November 2010, Jeanette DiBella and other education specialists were invited to CNN to discuss the challenges and issues facing educators and those who wish to reform the ailing US education system in a series called "Making the Grade."

During the conversation on the show, the host, Fredricka Whitfield asked challenging questions of Jeanette DiBella. Much of the discussion revolved around how administrators can motivate teachers and students to succeed at all times. Many of the answers from Jeanette DiBella addressed some of the difficult challenges that public and private schools are facing constantly.

Jeanette DiBella was and still is the principal of a highly successful school which primarily serves African American students, Providence St. Mel School in Chicago, Illinois. As the principal of the school, Jeanette DiBella is responsible for ensuring a high quality of education and commitment from students and staff alike.

When asked about her performance on CNN, Jeanette DiBella stated, "I believe I did a good job explaining to viewers the intricacies involved with reforming schools. People and politicians seem to think that education reform can be accomplished with an easy fix, but really it involves entire communities and families to get these schools to where they need to be for our future."

Since the appearance on CNN, Jeanette DiBella has continued to work to improve urban education throughout the country. She has received numerous awards for her efforts and plans to continue her advocacy work until real and permanent improvements are made throughout the country, a goal which has continuously driven her to be where she is today in her stance and involvement on education reform.
