Is Chronic Bacteria Prostatitis (CBP) a sexually transmitable disease or contagious to your partner (as oppose you are a male with this condition and your sexual partner is a female)? Like will the woman get these bacteria as well in her intimate parts, although with no symptoms, and if you ever somehow get cured, are able to get this nasty disease again if you have sex with your partner again? Whether you have the following experience? How to choose the correct prostatitis chronic treatment?

Every doctor you have gone to - whether GP, urologist or infectious disease has indicated there's no real chance of passing it along to your wife who infected with enterococcus. Your ID doctor is very knowledgeable so you trust his opinion on the matter. If your prostatitis is caused by a STD such as chlamydia or mycoplasma then of course it could be transmitted back and forth. I suppose that's why certain infections are classified as “sexually transmitted” and some not. If enterococcus was commonly transmitted via sex then I guess it would be classified as a STI, which it doesn't appear to be based on the research I've done. I've been having unprotected sex with my wife for 1.5 years since getting prostatitis and she's never had any signs or symptoms of anything abnormal. Meanwhile I was, at least for a time, shooting out semen full of enterococcus according to culture. This tells me that sometimes there's more to getting an infection than just coming into contact with a bacterium. The transmission mechanism probably isn't the same for all bacteria types.

Another example from patients, he had bladder cancer three years ago. They surgically removed the cancer, and then gave me follow up "BCG Treatments" for the next three years. The BCG is pretty caustic and caused scarring and red places on my bladder wall which could be seen from cystoscope checkups. Then, he started really experiencing pain with the insertion of the probe that instills the BCG... and my doctor said: "Well, you have a 'false passage'... and as bad luck would have it, when the false passage was made, it led straight from your urethra into your Prostate.

After you have confirm that your transmission mechanism probably isn't the same for all bacteria types, how to treat this type of prostatitis? How to choose the correct prostatitis chronic treatment? Since the factor of Prostatitis is complicated, patients are very difficult to get rid of this ignoring disease. Good news is that herbal medicine named Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill as Traditional Chinese Medicine is being extensively used among patients because its effective is incredibly great, not only relieving the pain, but also no risk of side effect.
