Boys & Girls Club of Central Texas is a kids and youth enrichment center conducting various activities for kids in the 6-18 years age group. It has an experience of more than a decade in serving the Central Texas community. The club organizes creative and innovative activities for children based on their age group, and is also renowned for organizing sports activities including Youth Football, Youth Basketball and Track. The aim of this club remains to build confidence among children, and help them to discover their talents.

They are based in multiple locations across Texas, including Copperas Cove, Gatesville, Georgetown, and Lampasas. Along with providing a diverse range of kid’s activities, the club also provides a high level of child care. Kids enrolled at the Boys & Girls Club of Central Texas can choose between the following programs based on their individual interests:

Character and leadership: The activities included in this program are Youth of the Year, Torch Clubs, Keystone Clubs, and Goals for Growth. Each of these activities is centered around building leadership skills in the children, and encouraging character development.

Education and career: These include activities like Money Matters: Make It Count, Skill Tech IT, Skill Tech, Junior staff career development, CareerLaunch, Power Hour, Goals for Graduation, and Project Learn. The aim of these programs is to encourage practical skills in children and make them career-oriented.

Health and life skills: These activities aim to make children physically, emotionally, and socially stronger. They include Cavity-Free Zone, SMART Moves, SMART Girls, SMART Leaders, Passport to Manhood, and Triple Play’s Healthy Habits.

The Arts: This is an effective program to encourage artistic talents in kids and give them a chance to tap their potential. Some of the activities included in this program are Summer Music Camp, Digital Arts Suite and Festivals, ImageMakers National Photography Contest, and National Fine Arts Exhibit Program.

Sports Fitness and Recreation: Kids with an inclination towards sports and outdoor recreation can choose this program, which includes activities like Cheerleading, Youth Basketball League, and Tackle Football League.
