Central Texas, 2014/ Press Release: The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Texas organizes various activities to help kids groom their personality and interact with each other. The club has been dedicated to providing the best possible child care facilities and kid’s activities since many years in Texas. The kids club holds various activities from time to time with a view to nourish and polish the child's abilities and skills.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Texas organizes ‘Character & Leadership’ programs which include kids’ activities like the Youth of the Year, Keystone Clubs, Torch Clubs, Goals for Graduation, Smart Moves and Goals for Growth. All these programs are intended to help the kids realize their own strengths and weaknesses; and develop characteristics that help them throughout life. The ‘Education and Career’ program at the club aims at improving the kid's practical learning skills and career objectives by teaching them about the different career options, money handling and the knowledge of computers. ‘Health and Life Skills’ program at the club makes the kids aware about their own self and how to stay physically healthy, and be emotionally and socially strong.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Texas also explores the artistic side of children by organizing a number of photography contests, music camps, painting exhibitions and drama classes. All these activities help the kids explore their talent and bring out the artist inside them. The club also provides sports coaching to the children of age 7 to 12. Various football and basketball leagues are organized at regular intervals and apart from sports, children can also go for cheerleading if they wish to.
