Fontana, Wisconsin : Abbey Springs Country Club is pleased to announce an upcoming renovation of their golf course. This $2.5 million project begins August 2, 2021, and should be completed by April 30, 2022, in time for the next year’s golf season. The golf course will be closed for the duration of the project.

Abbey Springs Country Club contracted with Lohmann Quitno Golf Course Architects to develop a plan for the new course, which includes overhauling 16 green complexes, adding fairway drainage to 15 holes, and expanding the pond retention areas. They will also rebuild 10 fairway bunkers, regrade five fairways, and redesign the short game area. Their goal in renovating the golf course is to create a premier top-caliber golf course to attract more golfers.

Abbey Springs Country Club is rapidly approaching their 50th anniversary and wanted to give back by improving the golf course for their loyal patrons.
