Randall Shelton, having a good experience of working as College Administrator, started the “Peanut Butter for Homeless College Students Project”. This program deals with homelessness of college students across campuses in the United States. At present, there are over 1.2 million homeless and food insecure college students across the nation. This pilot project was initially started at Kennesaw State University where over 200 homeless and food insecure students have been identified.

As a college administrator, Randall Shelton had become keenly aware of the tremendous need for helping these students who live in dangerous situations every day, while trying to look and appear like normal college students. He says, “It is devastating to see these students struggle to manage life, classes and survival. Colleges and Universities are losing good talent when these students leave school to focus on just trying to survive. Mr. Shelton raises funds for these homeless students, so that they can study well without being worried about their survival.
