It is best to “invent” a story to shed light on the phenomenon.
Once upon a time there was a universe and in this universe there was amusement of energy beings that actually did not even consist of energy but of potential. They all came from a source and therefore an energy. Now it is not very interesting to just hang around in the universe as energy and to have absolutely no variety or no further development.
The source saw it that way and so she created a special place. The one energy of the source, it is called unity, divided into two at this special place. The binary now made two completely opposing energies available for every possible aspect or topic of the unity, to be precise. Duality was created based on maximum polarity.
Eventually, the source released the place and the energies visited it to play the dual game. Everything they experienced here had to be experienced twice, in every polarity. If a being experienced what it is like to slander someone, the experience was only complete when the being also experienced what it is like to be slandered.
It was perfectly fine to play the dual game several thousand times and not to complete experiences within one game. So in game 345 there could be one experience and only in game 786 the appropriate counter experience.

One day after the energy beings had played the dual game of maximum opposites for many millennia, the source changed the game.
The human body, which the energy beings used for the dual game, was adapted accordingly for the dual game "Version 2".

With “Version 2”, the brain was able to calculate the counter-experience to an experience by simply multiplying the experience by (-1), ie the inverse was formed. The advantage of this mechanism was that every experience could be immediately counter-experienced. So the "middle" and this "middle", the mathematical zero, meant the same energy as that of the unit for each pair of experiences.

So the brain no longer worked dual (in 0 and 1), but in 1, -1 and 0.
The reprogramming of the brain in this ternary code in version 2 of the dual game enabled new experiences much faster, more intensely and on one higher energy levels could be completed. This promoted the development of energetic beings in the human body enormously.
All ties to the past, all orientations regarding the future, dissolved and the moment remained. The moment became a powerful unity of past and future. The moment, the NOW, became a powerful unity of experience and counter experience. Karmic burdens, systemic burdens and all "burdens" of separate duality were brought together in the dual unit. All opposites of duality became one and the energy beings experienced the energy of unity again, and at the same time had been able to experience the awareness of possible opposing forms of the one.
