Supervised all engineering and architectural activities throughout the city
Oversaw more than 30 engineers in the engineering division.
Scheduled planning, design, permitting, and construction of City’s Public Works projects, including buildings, roadway facilities, and bridges.
Advising the city commission, neighborhood representatives, and residents on the status of important issues associated with the city’s and other agencies’ projects.
Talking about his major accomplishments, Pedram Zohrevand implemented AAA’s (Adaptation Action Areas) policies adopted into the City’s Comprehensive Plan. He efficiently collaborated with the city’s Manager’s Office and Public Works Sustainability Division in order to integrate the sea level rise adaptation into planning mechanisms.
He successfully reduced the vacancies by about 90% and hired more than 10 Senior Project Managers and Administrative Assistants in Public Works Engineering Division over a period of 15 months. This step decreased several issues regarding the understaffing in the Engineering Division during recent years.
