In order to find the involvement of women in HR, Interview Mocha had conducted a survey. The survey focused on analyzing the increasing number of women in Human Resource profession as compared to men. In this survey Interview Mocha asked people to share their views on what they think about the benefits and drawbacks of Women as an HR in an organization. As per the people’s opinion, having women in organizations have more benefits rather than the drawbacks. As women are more dedicated, focused, approachable and capable of multi-tasking & conflict resolving. Such qualities help a lot in a company’s success. Interview Mocha had engaged people on various social media platforms to get their opinions on the questions asked in the survey. Here are some of the questions with their respective results:

• Women HR professionals are outnumbering Men:
Studies reveal that 70 percent of HR profession is dominated by females. As people agree that women possess all the skills and qualities that are required in an HR professional.

• Women are considered to have a better Emotional Intelligence (EQ):
More than 40 percent people think that women have better emotional intelligence than men. And having an emotional drive can be very influential in leading a business or an organization.

• The key HR skills are the ability to empathize, relate and influence:
More than 54 percent people think that women have the skills to handle responsibilities of an HR better. People agree that women have better organization skills, listening capabilities, empathy and capacity to negotiate without conflicts. Surprisingly, even men agreed with this statement, without much debate.

• Women remain anchored to lower levels and lower paid positions at work:
More than 39 percent people denied that women remain anchored to lower levels and lower paid jobs. As women have proved that they are not only fix to lower levels but have achieved a top position in this male dominated world.

• Companies with women as a board of member are more effective:
More than 38 percent people agree that companies perform better with women as board members. The study has revealed that the companies that have more number of women as the board of directors financially do better than the companies with the lowest percentage. As women has the ability to mobilize money to gain profit.
