The countdown to The Mumbai Yoga Fest began in style when enthusiastic shoppers at the R city mall , Ghatkopar ,were pleasantly surprised by a flash mob of nearly 30 people that took to dynamic yoga exercises at the main atrium area.


The team was headed by Shammi Gupta and from head stands to Acro Yoga (a combination of acrobatics and yoga) to surya namaskars ; it was all happening this weekend at R city mall. Mumbaikars at R city mall cheered on and screamed for an encore .

The Mumbai Yoga Fest is scheduled from 19th to 21st June at Nehru centre, Worli and will showcase unique modules like ' Yoga during Pregnancy ' , ' Yoga for senior citizens and various other rare asanas . Over 3000 yoga enthusiasts are expected to participate over 3 days . The Mumbai Yoga Fest coincides with the International Yoga Day celebrations on 21st June.
