“Rotary Club of Pune Banner” has organized a Seminar on “Career in Architecture & Designing” under Vocational Guidance Program on 8th May 2016 at 9am at Pandit Jawarharlal Nehru Auditorium, Ghole Road, Shivajinagar, Pune. This seminar will be useful for students of 10th / 11th and 12th. The seminar will highlight the upcoming and not much explored career in Designing. Also myths about Architecture career will be spoken about. It is observed that students and parents are unaware of these options.

This seminar will give detailed information about the career avenues, opportunities, colleges, entrance exam, admission criteria & admission process etc. Also useful tips to prepare for exams will be given. Even students who have given CET can still appear for NATA exam. Last date of exam for NATA exam for architecture exam will be Aug 2016. There is lot of job opportunity available in this field. Architects has important role to play in building smart cities, landscape designing, interior design along with building design. There is lot of demand for industry for Product Designers, Ui/UX Designer, Automotive designer, fashion designer, Animation Film Design etc.

The seminar will be conducted by Mr. Vivek Velankar, President of Sajag Nagrik Manch & eminent Educational Counselor. Also various other people from Industry with teaching experience with colleges will be talking about NATA and NID exam procedure. This program will be presided over by Rtn. Avinash Bhondwe (AG) & Rtn. Unmesh Risbood (President, Baner Club).
