This collaboration is a significant step towards enabling more patients in India to consult with Cleveland Clinic experts from the comfort of their homes for support navigating a complex diagnosis or condition. The collaboration will enable the Meghe Group to bring world-class healthcare facilities along with a second opinion directly from Cleveland Clinic physicians in varied specialities including oncology, neurology, cardiac sciences, renal sciences, immunology, etc. The collaboration with DMIHER Group of Hospitals will complement IMAS Healthcare's commitment to expanding access to world-class medical expertise for patients across India.

In this telemedicine division based in SMHRC (Shalinitai Meghe Hospital and Research Center), interested individuals can engage with a Cleveland Clinic physician through an SMHRC nodal physician and express their interest in seeking a second opinion. Subsequently, with appropriate consent, the patient's medical records will be securely shared by SMHRC to Cleveland Clinic, followed by the scheduling of a conference call involving the Cleveland Clinic physician and SMHRC nodal physician through IMAS Healthcare. The Cleveland Clinic physician will provide insights to the SMHRC nodal physician in the presence of the patient and their family, who will then collaboratively determine the most appropriate course of treatment for the patient.
