Clear vision: A vision is a clear mental picture, which is stated in words how you as a leader want to be seen and remembered. Your vision is what gives you purpose and a path to carry out your tasks.

Be responsive: If you have emails in your inbox that you haven't responded to, there's a good chance you're catching up with other people's work. You multiply your ineffectiveness as a leader whenever someone asks for information or judgment from you and you do not respond or respond in a timely manner. Be organized and do not catch the work of other people. Fixing this one feature will increase the effectiveness of your leadership in achieving things.

Be well organized: To get things done, leaders need to be well organized. You need a good 'to do list and planning system' that allows you to prepare well and fulfill obligations beyond promises or deadlines.

Deliver on your promise: Do what you say you are going to do; when you say you are going to do it…even long after the feeling to do so has left you. Be the person who follows through and consistently delivers.
