June 26, 2020, Baltimore, Maryland – iCareManager (hereunder “iCM”) today announced the launch of their
updated mobile app for their EHR system for long term support providers, especially those servicing aging or disabled populations.
This companion app makes the life of front-line staff, such as Direct Support Providers (“DSPs”), much more
productive and hassle-free. Among other things, DSPs can now scan QR codes for attendance, get electronic
verification done with a touch of a button, and document the services they are providing with photos directly into a news stream.
“One of the biggest issues in the DDA & i/DD industry is in adoption of technology by front-line staff members,” said COO Babar Nawaz, “Instead of intimidating DSPs with complex software, we’ve made the process of providing supports and services as easy as a few touches of buttons through our app.”
The application is now available to download in both Android and iOS app stores and can immediately be used by anyone who already has a SaaS subscription with iCM.

With the app, users can:
1. Check people in/out of attendance by scanning a QR code badge using their phone’s camera. This
QR code scans with geo-location giving you electronic visit verification, showing that you were with the
person at the required location and time.
2. Access Care Tracker to better manage the people they support. The Care Tracker feature helps staff
track and log all the support provided – ensuring delivery of the best possible service. This includes
everything from activities of daily living, to progress toward a person’s desired goals and outcomes. This
information can later easily be flowed into billable Service Notes.
3. Take and post photos of activities using iCM's unique Snap Tag feature. Staff can take photos from
their mobile devices of onsite activities that they are doing and post them in a live feed for the team to see.
All photos can be tagged to individual people that the agency supports.
4. Access tasks and schedules using MyWork. DSPs don't have to log in to the web portal to see their tasks
and assignments. They can simply log in to the mobile app and get all info directly on their phones, while
they are on the go.
5. Get alerts for incident reports, messages, and other app notifications. Staff can get alerted on their
mobile devices for any important update (such as filing of an incident report) so that they don't miss out on
anything important, even if they are not near their computer.
6. Manage people lists. Staff can access the entire list of people the agency supports directly through the
mobile app. They are listed in an easy to browse format to quickly get to the information the DSPs are
looking for.
7. Lookup details about the people the agency supports using Facesheet. Sometimes staff members
need to quickly access information about a person, such as allergies, medications, diagnoses, contacts, etc.
With Facesheet, they can search for the person in the database and get all of that info in one place.
