Candidates must not be younger than 21 years and older than 32 years on 1st August of the attempting year.

-up to maximum of 5 years for candidates domiciled in J & K during 1980-89
-up to maximum of 3 years for candidates disabled in defence services.
-up to maximum of 5 years for ex-servicemen
-up to maximum of 5years for disabled persons( blind/deaf/deaf-mute/orthopedically handicapped
