The return of rockstar hair!
Over the past 2 decades, the hair industry has searched for many new identities. We saw hair products pushing sleek, straight, flat, planet friendly, natural, vegan, touchable, high tech, alcohol-free, sulfate-free. You get the point. But somewhere along the line we forgot to have hair products where their main purpose is to create hair that rocks and have fun doing it.

Last week I got to try 2 new products from MAK Hair Products. They were Glypto molding paste and Dynato finishing spray. I wanted to experiment so I used Glypto (emulsified in my palm with 1 spray of water) to create the Nikki Sixx inspired spiky crown. But I also used it on wet hair in the front for control. Well, a little more than just control. Let's say it was like "controlling her after you get her drunk enough to coax her yet make her think it was her idea". This product is just plain FUN. Getting her hair to rock out was as easy as it gets. I didn't have to backcomb a single strand. Just put this stuff in your hands. The rest is all feel. It is very refreshing to have 2 simple products whose purpose is to take a head of hair and kick its ass. I also had to add a few rhinestones to the front to pay homage to glam rock. And this stuff screams glam.

You can spike it, piece it, clump it, funk it and smack it on the bing bong. And the Dynato spray is an exclamation point in a bottle. Because we're talking rock-n-roll hair here. And who puts their horns up and says "Fuck yeah!" without an exclamation point? I had a great time with these 2 new products. I can't wait for the next rocker hair to come in so I can bang some more heads.
