A Good Deal of our subscribers have emailed us questions regarding how they can build muscle quickly. Obviously people are hoping to get themselves in shape as rapidly as can be, so how about we have a closer look at this subject.

If the concept of diet and weights scare you, don't be alarmed. Developing your body is a process. No one expects you to stop the fast food fix on Monday and develop those abs on Tuesday. The discipline will be the hardest part but once you begin the journey and commit to it, it gets easier. The changes you make are gradual. Simply cut back on the amount of calories you take in each day and start an exercise routine that entails lifting weights. Don't forget, your cardio and hydration with water. That's it. With commitment and consistency, your six pack will be making its debut before you know it.

This is usually one of the big components that stops men from bulking up. They might eat a lot, but if they're eating naughty foods that are high in saturated fat, (Vince DelMonte calls them "empty calories") or sugar, then they're filling themselves up with food that won't treat their bodies well. I'd like to liken this to the diet of sumo wrestlers. They are big. There's no doubt about it. However, they're not fat. If you define overweight in terms of fat percentage a skinny dude in the crowd watching a 120 kg sumo wrestler fight could be "fatter" than the sumo wrestler himself! All that weight they have is muscle, based on a special diet of fish, vegetables and other foods high in protein. Am I telling you that you have to eat like a sumo wrestler to gain muscle mass? Well, what do you think?

You ask, how long will it take before you see results? To bulk up overnight is everyone's dream, but that simply can't happen. Be patient and remain steady with your planned routines for body building at home and you should start to see results in a couple of weeks.
