Once again, Newton Shows is partnering with the Queens County Farm Museum to present its 28th Annual “Apple Blossom Children’s Carnival” at the museum on Saturday, May 3 and 10 and Sunday, May 4 and 11.
The complete dates and times for the event are as follows:
● Saturday, May 3 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
● Sunday, May 4 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
● Saturday, May 10 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
● Sunday, May 11 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The carnival will feature extraordinary rides — including the Circus Train and the Cliffhanger — as well as games and food. Pay One Price admission includes all rides. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $18 per day, $25 per day at the door. Height restrictions apply.
“The Circus Train and the Cliffhanger are two of the carnival goers’ favorites,” said Mike Newton, Owner, Newton Shows. “The spring season and the mild weather help bring a festive atmosphere to the event. Plus, our pay-one-price is popular with the families because they can pay less to enjoy the day.”
In addition, visitors can tour the beautiful grounds of the Queens County Farm Museum. With 47 acres of farmland, historic buildings, and friendly animals, there’s something for everyone to explore and enjoy. Guests can stop by the Farm Store, visit the greenhouse and animal areas, or take a hayride around the property.
“We are delighted to partner with Newton Shows for what has become a cherished spring tradition at Queens Farm," said David Hughes, Executive Director of the Queens County Farm Museum. "From classic carnival rides to the laughter of families enjoying hayrides and all the delights of farm life, the Apple Blossom Children’s Carnival is a joyful way to welcome the season and connect our community to the rhythms of spring."
Visitors are also encouraged to experience Blooms at Queens Farm — our U-Pick Tulip Festival returning this season with over three acres of vibrant tulips in full bloom. It’s a stunning and unforgettable way to celebrate nature’s beauty, right here in New York City.
Tickets may be purchased from Queens County Farm Museum in advance by calling (718) 347-3276 or visiting https://www.queensfarm.org/apple-blossom-childrens-carnival/.
