Naggar to Bijli Mahadev is the most scenic cycling trail stretching across busy town’s remote villages through abundant forest lands of the valley. It completes all kinds of trailing though one can do it any time of the year. The cycling route covers every terrain from tarmac to rough roads, villages to the jungle, and low lands to the alpine range achieved ultimately at Bijli Mahadev.

Detailed Itinerary:

Reach Naggar at an elevation of 1800m above sea level. Our staff will welcome you at the Hotel Journey Casa. Then the cycling starts from crossing the river Beas till we reach Raison. The trail will take you through beautiful meadows and villages. Further, we reach Vyasar at 2100 M. From there, the cycling trail becomes steeper and presents far stretched valley views.

Ride to Jana (2200m). Here is the best day of cycling trip as here you will find the picturesque landscapes and dense forests of pine and deodar. The day passes through the well-populated village of Jana. At Jana, take some rest and explore historic architecture.

Our next stop is Matikochhar, an alpine pasture amidst wild trees in dense forests through the thick forests. As we pass the Kais wildlife sanctuary, it becomes thicker and thicker. Now we will rest for the day. Standing on the top of the mountain gives you a marvelous view of the mighty Himalayas and clear night. You can watch thousands of houses lighting up the entire valley just like twinkling stars.

Have A glimpse of spectacular sunrise as we perch towards rising. As we ride towards the top, the forests vanish and there will be low vegetation. As you reach the top, we will observe the 360 degrees of densely populated valley escorted by the snow-capped mountains. Have a good time in the temple and we will ride back.
