A majority of people dive into a tireless pursuit of preparing for motherhood. After all, it is not an easy task to keep another human being alive and thriving. Thus, it makes it impossible to fully prepare your life with a kid. Indeed, motherhood is constant, demanding and exhausting. The same happened with Heather McSparron who had to put her career on hold in an attempt to prepare for motherhood. Despite of the challenges she faced while having baby, she did not give up and learned the basic skills including communication, planning, mentoring, budgeting as well as leadership to come up with a bang.

Completely focused on providing the best to her kid, little did she realize that it was going to be the beginning of her professional development. Her husband being an active duty military, Heather had to choose to stay at home post serving as photo lab manager. Being a stay-at-home mother, she learned work-life balance while sharpening her skills that she had learnt in the photo lab.

Heather McSparron made her best efforts to brush up her critical thinking, strategic planning, problem solving as well as mentoring skills. Owing to her passion for numbers, she was offered the position of customer service representative at Riverside National Bank. Discussing about the most valuable asset of the client i.e. money, Heather learned the problem-solving unknown transactions, thus keeping the clients calm when they are upset. Besides, she made use of creative technique to make as much money as possible with the products being offered for the clients. It was her responsibility to make sure that the assets of clients are covered by FDIC insurance. She always listened to her clients and full understood their problems. Thus, she came up with a solution that could make both the clients as well as the bank happy.

Pertaining to her professional career at a local government contracting company named DRS, Heather McSparron started working as a proposal specialist in 2007. Here, she learned various skills that helped her to excel in this field. These skills included creating Request for Quotes, analyzing proposals, reading the technical drawings, understanding technical evaluations and interacting between the external customers as well as internal ones. Besides, she made sure that all RFQs and proposals from suppliers were quoted according to the FAR.

During her leisure time, Heather McSparron loves to do anything outdoor that includes fishing, camping, decorating house, painting and yard work. Currently, she lives in Florida, but she is planning to move back west for a daily mountain view.
