Being an all-volunteer, civilian organization of US, Civil Air Patrol took the lead to initiate Drug Demand Reduction program. It assisted the squadrons, groups, wings, and regions to instill an aggressive, positive and drug-free attitude in Civil Air Patrol members, civilians and school-age children.

Civil Air Patrol initiated drug demand reduction program that was highly committed towards making it a drug-free organization. Served as the best drug demand reduction administrator, Heather McSparron has always been familiar with the wing level planning and execution of drug demand reduction program. She just ensured that this program promoted Civil Air Patrol as a positive community service lifestyle. She made her best efforts to provide positive activities as an alternative to drugs and gang violence. Overall, she held a good understanding of contemporary issues in the field of drug demand reduction.

Starting her career as a buyer at DRS-RSTA in Melbourne, Heather McSparron prepared and solicited quotes to selected suppliers, analyzed proposals, reviewed the cost analysis with program management, administered the definitized purchase orders and monitored supplier performance. Here, she also made it sure that the supplier has valid NDA prior to purchase order release. Heather consolidated Bin Stock program from three buildings to one building while preventing the manufacturing line from work stoppage.

From 2012-2015, Heather worked as a buyer at DynCorp International at Melbourne. Here, he prepared and solicited the quotes to the selected brokers. She also provided OEM or FAA approved repair facilities for aircraft and non-aircraft new and repair parts. While working in Kabul, she prepared and solicited the quotes to the local suppliers for the materials and services. She reviewed the items for orders and for the possibility of procuring more locally.

Regarding her education credentials, Heather McSparron is currently studying at Purdue University Global where she is pursuing Bachelors in Business Management. She also attended Everest University for 2 years while working and transferred the credits to Purdue. Thereafter, she started her online courses in Iraq.
