This program allows families to provide a permanent, loving home to one of our breeding dogs while participating in the joyful process of nurturing future Bernedoodle generations.

About the Guardian Home Program:

Our Guardian Home Program is designed to ensure that each of our breeding dogs enjoys a fulfilling life within a dedicated family environment. In this arrangement, guardians receive a purebred puppy at no cost, while Haystack Mountain Bernedoodles retains breeding rights for a predetermined period. Once the dog's breeding career concludes, we handle the spaying or neutering procedure, after which the dog remains a cherished member of the guardian family for the rest of its life.
HAYSTACK MOUNTAIN BERNEDOODLES

Guardian Responsibilities:

For Females: A typical breeding career involves up to four litters, with one or two litters per year. Guardians are responsible for notifying us promptly when the female enters heat. If breeding is planned, the dog stays with the guardian during pregnancy. Approximately one week before delivery, she returns to us for whelping and remains until the puppies are weaned, after which she rejoins her guardian family.
HAYSTACK MOUNTAIN BERNEDOODLES

For Males: Male dogs typically have a breeding career spanning 5-6 years. Guardians must ensure the male is kept away from intact females of breeding age. We coordinate with guardians regarding breeding schedules, requiring the male to be available as needed. Upon retirement, he is neutered and continues his life with the guardian family.

Guardian Home Requirements:

Reside within one hour of Mead, CO (80542).

Demonstrate a friendly demeanor and commitment to a professional relationship.

Own their home with no plans to move within the next five years.

Have prior experience owning a dog.

Possess a fully fenced or enclosed yard.

Agree to feed TLC All Life Food and supplement with NuVet Plus during the dog's breeding career.

For Poodles, commit to professional grooming every 6-8 weeks.
