The Rising People Welfare Society (TRPWS) is an NGO based in Delhi. It thrives for the healthcare and education of the marginalized people and the children living in orphanages and street shelters. It also wants to bring about a change in the society by trying to eliminate the discrimination based on privilege by birth and not hard work and talent. This Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) was formed by a group of young people who wanted to get a chance in the society. It was started by three people namely Avleen Kaur, Kuwarjeet Singh and Harmandeep Kaur in 2012.
The Rising People Welfare Society provides opportunities for young minds to get involved in social work, explore the cause of social backwardness and learn skills in the field of HR, PR, content writing, social media marketing and teaching. It is for a minimum period of six weeks, and if you wish to you can continue working for more time. It is a unique opportunity provided to young people to do social service as well as learn new skills. This is an NGO where young minds are involved and everyone is given equal opportunity to put forth their ideas and are appreciated for that. It offers a variety of work that skilled or unskilled interns can do. This is a recognised NGO and provides work experience which involves acquiring skills which are described above and some unseen skills which get embedded in you as you work with the NGO.
