Wasatch Peaks’ estate planning services are due to a partnership with Summit Administrators, LLC. Wills, trusts, and estate planning services are available to all members. Two options to complete the estate plan exists:

• Members can choose to do things themselves. A software application from mystrustandwill.com is available for download. Users will then be prompted to follow a step-by-step process. All the needed forms to complete the estate plan will be given during this process.

• Members can choose to meet with an attorney. A sit-down session with a lawyer from Summit Administrators is all that’s needed to undertake the process. The attorney is capable not only of assisting the client, but also preparing and recording the estate plan.

The legal services that Summit Administrators, LLC provide are all-encompassing for this type of concern. It includes the following: estate plan (including trust, pour-over wills, living wills, advanced health care directives, and durable powers of attorney for legal/financial issues), uncontested probates, irrevocable life insurance trust, family limited partnership, series limited liability company, limited liability company, charitable remainder trust, corporation, and a land trust (both private and commercial).

Here’s how pricing is broken down compared to competitive services. The DIY option is the more affordable of the two: members can only expect a total of $69.97 at the end of the processing. But they would have to do without the expert assistance of an estate planning lawyer.

Of course, meeting up with an attorney from Summit Administrators, LLC is the pricier one. The key takeaway is that members will have a learned expert on their side to the tune of $595.
