MMA is now a modern day martial art form which creates best known fighters of the era. Thus came up the art of Mixed Martial Arts or better known as the MMA.

Historically, several fighting arts and forms have developed around the world, which helps us ensure the strength of a particular part of our mind even though each propagates the complete health and strength of the body. Kung-fu, karate, boxing, and wrestling- whatever you talk of, for every martial art form we need our body to be enduring, and strong; agile and swift. But what will happen when we combine the skills of many?

With the modern world turning the globe into a village, the fighters around the world have also learnt that it is never enough to master a particular skill set as your opponent may easily find a loop hole to counter that. Thus came up the art of Mixed Martial Arts or better known as the MMA. MMA for the first time brought two fighters of totally different skill set and nurtured with different rules and principles in the same ring- with minimal rules to come between them. Initially, it came up as a deadly sport where the last man standing was the winner. With the passing years, it has been developed more as an art and less a cruel duel. The safety rules have been developed for MMA which promotes development of fighters’ strength and innovation. The rules never diminished the aim of combining different martial art forms to develop a new complete fighting form giving the fighter ability to emerge as champion in every possible combat.

MMA is now a modern day martial art form which creates best known fighters of the era. The fights are generally held in 5 rounds of 5 minutes each with the last man standing as the champion. The fighter should be agile and swift as a boxer; enduring and strong like a wrestler; fast and calm like a swimmer. Thus not only fighting skills but different sports forms for developing the muscles of the body in the most complete way are needed to be combined in the best possible way during training. The fighter should also realize that there is no valor in running to the ring in few months, before his first fight a fighter should be dedicated, determined and patient. He should analyze his strengths and weaknesses regularly and aim to make his strengths stronger and remove his weaknesses one by one.

The determination and dedication to prepare for the ultimate fight before going out on the ring is naturally needed. Your body should be your temple and worshipping it daily should be your motto. Only then you will grow up as an enduring and strong MMA fighter.
