Hamilton County Judge Megan Shanahan is currently under investigation for affirming a Magistrate's ruling in a default civil judgment. A man accused of Rape by Deception sued his victim. Through a high powered attorney, the man was able to suppress any evidence the young lady submitted. Legal aid could not take her case because "they only take a certain number of cases and when they're civil, they usually only represent companies".

The young lady tried to answer the complaint and it was struck. She tried to fight the complaint with limited funds, where she lived, 1,100 miles away. The Court defamed the young woman by claiming she "admitted" to the allegations because she wasn't able to answer the complaint. The young lady did answer the complaint and that complaint was struck on a technicality.

Situations like this should not happen. The woman cannot afford an attorney and didn't go to law school, so she was unable to answer the complaint. Now she's been defamed and accused of "admitting" to the allegations. While the young lady simply told her story online, the perpetrator published naked photos of the woman, her social security number, and even made up fake evidence to submit to the Court.

Justice was not served and Judge Megan Shanahan will have to answer for why this happened. We'll be watching this very closely.
