The reason we are fat is processed foods, period, there is no other reason. It's not about overeating or lack of exercise it is solely about eating foods we were never intended to eat. We are constantly told that we need to reduce our consumption of fat and that our diets should be heavy in complex carbohydrates but that advice is just plain silly. The problem with this is that our ancestors didn't have access to complex carbohydrates. How can the human body possibly function best on foods that weren't available for millennia

So what should we be eating Well, the answer should be obvious if you think about how cavemen lived. They were hunters and gatherers. They ate meat and fruits and vegetables and that's what you should eat to. A good rule of thumb is to remember that food is perishable, if it doesn't go bad in a few days it is something to be avoided.
