Approval has been granted to establish GS University in the private sector. This university will be located in Pilkhuwa, Hapur. The Uttar Pradesh Private University Act of 2019 will be amended, and the Uttar Pradesh Private University (Fifth Amendment) Ordinance of 2024 will be implemented to facilitate this establishment. Following these amendments, an operating authority letter will be issued as per the regulations. Then, as per the rules, it will be handed over to the operating authority. The letter will be issued to state students who do not need to go to other countries or states to pursue higher education. For this, emphasis is being laid on continuously increasing the number of universities. The establishment of universities is being encouraged in the government and the private sector. This explains why private colleges are expanding quickly with the exemptions granted to private institutions.
